Simple Butter Cookies
A classic 3-ingredient butter cookie recipe perfect for decorating at Easter or any time of year.

Ingredients
65g softened butter
2 tbsp sugar
65g self-raising flour
Method
Mix butter and sugar together until smooth.
Add flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
Chill for 30 minutes if rolling out shapes.
Roll to the thickness of a pound coin and cut into shapes.
Place on a lined tray leaving space for spreading.
Bake at 180°C for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
Cool before decorating with icing.
